Osteopathy is a form of manual therapy that looks at how your body moves as a whole. Rather than focusing solely on where you feel pain, Osteo’s consider how your joints, muscles and nervous system work together to identify what's contributing to your symptoms.

Pain has a way of making life feel smaller. Whether it's stopping you from training, making work uncomfortable, or getting in the way of everyday life. Every Osteo appointment with Andy Nguyen combines hands-on treatment (massage, HVLA adjustments, dry needling) with movement assessment, rehabilitation and practical advice to help you move better and recover well.

Osteopathy can help with:

  • Back and neck pain

  • Joint pain and stiffness

  • Hip and pelvic pain

  • Shoulder pain and dysfunction

  • Knee, ankle and foot pain

  • Headaches and jaw pain

  • Sciatica and nerve-related pain

  • Sports and overuse injuries

  • Arthritis-related pain and reduced mobility

  • Postural and work-related pain

Helping you move with confidence, recover from pain, and get back to doing what you love.

What does an Osteopath appointment involve?

An osteopathy session combines hands-on treatment with a full movement assessment, tailored rehabilitation exercises and practical advice. The goal isn't just to ease today's pain, it's to help you understand your body, move with confidence, and build the strength and resilience to keep doing the things you love for years to come.

Do I need a referral to see an Osteo?

No, however Medicare covers Osteopathy under the GP Chronic Disease Management plan, and even then only part of the cost, for a capped number of visits per year.

Most clients claim through their private health fund instead. Ask us about on-site HICAPS claiming when you book.

How do I know who to see at IWHP?

You don't need to work that out yourself. At IWHP, our Osteopath, Myotherapists, Remedial Massage Therapists and Strength Coaches work collaboratively, drawing on each other's expertise so you get the right care at the right time. Book in with whoever feels closest to your goals, and if another approach (Myotherapy, Remedial Massage or Strength Training) would help more, we'll point you there.
